font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\"> created the standard Collaborative Innovation Formation\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">(Cluster) which is named <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: justify;\">CirOWa Cluster \u2013 (Circle Of Waste Cluster)<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">, in\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">which companies are actived in the fields of waste management and processing that\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">are originated from food production processes.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">The creation and operation of the <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">cluster is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">European Union and by national resources within the framework of the EPANEK <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">2014-2020.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify;\">The aim of the cluster is to strengthen the cooperation between companies for the systems development that will <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: justify;\">create value in the waste chain<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-indent: -18pt;\">that\u00a0<\/span>generate waste so that all operations are as environmentally friendly as possible.<\/li><li><b>D<\/b><b style=\"font-style: inherit; text-indent: -18pt;\">evelopment of an integrated waste\u00a0<\/b><b style=\"font-style: inherit; text-indent: -18pt;\">categorization \/ characterization system<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-indent: -18pt;\"> based on European Directives. In\u00a0<\/span>particular, the tools and practices will focus on the control and minimization of the environmental impact of waste through the development of innovative management programs, related to the recycling of materials (by-products) and the reduction of waste, (e.g. frying oil, aluminum paper, plastic, toner, batteries, lamps, etc.).<\/li><li><b style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;\">B2B\u00a0<\/b><b style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;\">electronic platform<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;\"> for waste management that will support the notification\u00a0<\/span>of waste quantities to be disposed of, the closing of waste disposal agreements, the waste path tracking up to its possible recycling, its transport monitoring in real time and the monitoring performance indicators of waste management processes at the level of a unit of waste produced.<\/li><li><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;\">Development\u00a0<\/span>of <b style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;\">Internet of Things <\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;\">applications<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt;\">\u00a0for the\u00a0<\/span>automatic monitoring of the evolution of waste volumes and their transport process with the aim of better planning of their collection and processing.
